Amidate is a hypnotic agent. The exact way that it works is unknown.


The recommended doses 0.3 mg/kg, injected over a period of 30 to 60 seconds

Inducing general anesthesia and with other medications to provide anesthesia during short surgeries.

Contraindicated: The drug should not be used by breastfeeding women, as evidences from studies have shown that there is a high risk of causing significant damage to infants.
