Daunorubicin is a cancer medication that interferes with the growth and spread of cancer cells in the body.

Daunorubicin is used in the treatment of leukemia (blood cancer).

The recommended dose of 45 mg/m2/day IV on days 1, 2, and 3

Daunorubicin is a cytotoxic agent. It works by preventing the cancer cell from reproducing, which results in death of the cancer cell.

Precautions:
